Small Business Sit-Down: Cindy Steele from Grandma LuLu’s Table

The second episode of Small Business Sit-down is now live! We had the pleasure of sitting down with Cindy Steele, president and founder of Grandma LuLu’s Table, a San Diego non-profit intent on feeding the homeless and the food insecure across the county.

We discuss Cindy’s early career, how she got into risk management, and how that eventually lead to the creation of Grandma LuLu’s Table.

Grandma LuLu’s Table

Their mission is clear; provide nutritious and healthy food to the people who need.

To facilitate this goal, Cindy and her team plan on purchasing a food truck so that they can go directly into hurting communities.

They are still in need of donations to make sure they can purchase the food truck, and continue to provide food each week. If you would like to learn more about Grandma LuLu’s Table, or would simply like to donate to their cause, be sure to visit their website!
